BLAKELY HISTORY

The most substantial change in this second generation car was to the chassis. Many of the features of the Bearcat are reflected in this new chassis. The frame is welded using 2" x 3" and 2" x 2" 7 gauge tubular steel that provides incredible structural integrity without adding weight to the car. The roll bar has always been a part of both the Bantam and the Hawk providing additional structural integrity as well as greater safety for the driver whether on the highway or the track. The Hawk shown above had been stashed away for several years. It is a really good example of an original Hawk.
The Hawk has also proven to be a great car if you want to express your individuality. The Hawk shown below is a unique example of the kind of creativity that makes everyone smile.
