This website was created in an effort to recognize and honor the work of Dick Blakely and to celebrate his genius. He was often a challenge to work with but anyone who had the good fortune of being a part of one of his teams should be able to look back and realize that they had experienced a special moment in time.

Dick was an artist and didn't know it. In the early '80's he agreed to allow me to curate a special collection of his drawings, sketches,  and car parts, in a unique art show in the gallery of the Oregon Public Library. I don't think he ever forgot that show. It helped him to see his work from a different perspective. And it helped to deepen our friendship. Dick died on August 16, 1995.

We hope you appreciate and enjoy this effort and we welcome your comments.
